The conference OSiM (Open Source in Mobile), which was held in Berlin, Nokia company disclosed details about the new version of a platform for Internet map – Maemo Linux 5. According to the developers, the new platform will support high-speed cellular standard HSPA, will be able to work with more processor-based Ti OMAP3 nucleus ARM Cortex-A8 and maintain high-resolution cameras.
However, the prototype web-map based on the new platform Maemo 5 have been submitted. In addition, the conference Nokia company reported that attained the status of Gold sponsor in the organization of Linux Foundation
