The new Motorola VC6096 is designed to assist transportation and logistics providers accomplish cost-effective compliancy, maximize driver productivity, improve safety and vehicle utilization, reduce costs and improve customer service. Weighing at 4.85 pound, the device features HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth connectivity, SAE J1708 and J1939 ports, SiRFstarIII GSC3ef/LP GPS chipset, and 6.5-inch VGA touchscreen include a backlit 65-key keyboard.
Other features include 128MB of RAM ,256MB of flash for storage and a 624 MHz XScale PXA270 processor. No idea on pricing, but the VC6096 could be an essential gadget to work on the move on next year.
