Sharp to unveil its ultra-slim LCD TV with 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio

Sharp unveiled its ultra-slim premium LCD TV AQUOS XS1 Series during CEATEC 2008, which features 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

With only 2.28cm thickness at its slimmest section, the AQUOS XS1 supports 150% color representation and 450 cd/m2 brightness.
It is expected to be available in Japan market on October 15th for 1,280,000(JPY) for 65-inch model and 980,000(JPY) for 52-inch model.
