Samsung Electronics displayed its new mp3 player ‘YP-Q1′ equipped with a 2.4-inch TFT-LCD display during KES 2008.

Adopting Samsung’s new DNSe 3.0 engine that provides higher quality sound with more natural effects than conventional methods do, the YP-Q1 supports various music formats including MP3, WMA, OGG and FLAC, and image formats such as JPG, BMP, GIF and PNG.

Other features included video playback, FM radio, voice recording, text viewer and TTS function. Available in black, white and silver colors, the YP-Q1 offers 30 hours of music playing and 4 hours of video playing time. It is available for 119,000(KRW) for 4GB and 159,000(KRW) for 8GB and 219,000(KRW) for 16GB.
